Townsend Building Services offers a one stop shop for all home repairs, backed up with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Insurance industry, complete with business systems that have been developed to meet those specific needs.

Our computer system maintains records on a job by job basis which are progressively updated to provide accurate and timely feedback

We undertake a complete range of building services from total reconstruction to repairs including plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing, asbestos removal and more.

We also have our own in-house cabinet shop staffed with experienced cabinet makers.

 


We fully appreciate the importance of the Insurance Industry’s Code of Practice for Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters.  Our systems and procedures have been established to support these obligations.

It is our policy to:

  • Make contact with the insured within 8 business hours of receiving a Quotation Request or Repair Authority.

  • Arrange inspection within 2 business days.

  • Complete a quotation within 2 business days after inspection.

  • Complete the works within the promised time.

  • Engage only professional and properly qualified tradespeople.

  • Address any complaints within 4 business hours.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with the insured before and during the works programme.

  • Seek and record a customer satisfaction rating at the completion of the works.

  • Advise the assessor within 8 business hours where nominated promised times are unable to be met or insured dissatisfaction is unable to be resolved.
